At DPS Santosh Nagar, sports education is a core pillar of our holistic approach to student development. As one of the top sports schools in Hyderabad, we firmly believe that a student's physical well-being is closely linked to their academic success and overall quality of life. While we strive for academic excellence, we equally focus on empowering students to unlock their true potential through advanced training programs, guided by certified coaches. Our students benefit from the right exposure, designed to foster personal and athletic growth. From pre-primary onwards, we introduce various indoor and outdoor sports to build physical strength, mental resilience, and tactical discipline, laying the foundation for well-rounded development.
OUR ASSOCIATIONS
DPS takes great pride in its state-of-the-art Rifle Shooting gallery, established just a few years ago and already producing top performers at national, CBSE, and state levels. Leadership is about turning dreams into reality, and a visionary leader anticipates the future, strategically plans for it and builds a legacy. The visionary leadership of our Chairman, Shri M. Komaraiah, and his unwavering commitment to promoting sports have resulted in world-class facilities for the students of Hyderabad and Telangana.
Through collaborations with renowned sports personalities such as Mr. Sumith, Rio Olympian in Badminton, Mr. Harsha, coach at MK’s Badminton Academy, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the legendary former Indian cricket captain, Mr. Phani, international football player, and Mr. Anoop Kumar Yama, international skater and Arjuna Awardee, the school has seen remarkable growth. These partnerships have not only enhanced our sports infrastructure but have also brought the best coaches in the country to train and mentor our students, positioning DPS as a hub for sporting excellence.
M.S.Dhoni Cricket Academy
The school has launched the M.S.Dhoni Cricket Academy Cricket Performance Centre in collaboration with the International Cricketer par excellence M.S.Dhoni. The academy has been opened for students from the age of seven upwards. The academy encourages budding talent of all ages. Coaches of international standards train students and hone their skills.
HYD Football academy
The school has launched the Mks Football Academy in collaboration with Mr Phalguna, International Football player. The excellent coaching given by experts for students in the morning and evening and during school game periods speak volumes about the quality of nurturing of the talent in students by the coaches of the school.
YAMA SKATING ACADEMY
The school has launched the YAMA SKATING ACADEMY in collaboration with Anup Kumar Yama, Arjuna Awardee for students of 7 years and above. The enviable skating rink with state-of-the-art facilities has excellent coaches to hone the talents and skills of all skating lovers.
